HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!

My cycle came on the 14th of july and went off completely the 18th. This time my cycle came on the 18th of august and went off on the 20th.  It was completely on. On the 22nd of august I started to spot brownish red and this has continued on, even today.  Its not alot just when i wipe.  I was experiencing a sharp pain for a moment for three days and it stopped.  It wasnt all day just maybe once a day.  This has NEVER happened before.

Has this happened to anyone before?  Could it be that I'm pregnant?  PLEASE HELP!!!!

Are your periods usually only lasting 4 days? And was the period on the 14th of July a typically normal one for your body?

A period can last up to 7 days...sometimes longer. Brownish blood or spotting is a sign of old blood. Now if you started your period the 18th of this month...with a normal flow, then stopped on the 20th...and the spotting started on the 22nd, it would appear to be a normal period to me.

I have a typical 28 day cycle, and I have a flow for 4 days, however...there have been a few times I thought my period had stopped, only for it to return again for a few more days. So far your cycle would have lasted 8 days....(thats counting the 4 days of spotting)

The first day of a woman's period is not until the normal flow, for example....

If I was to start my period tomorrow it would be very light bleeding but mostly spotting, with typical period symptoms, bloating, cramping ext..ext.

But by the 2nd day, my period is a heavy flow(this heavy flow day would be considered my 1st day of my period.

I hope this isn't very confusing, and I hope you can find out what it is. I would wait until you have missed an entire cycle to take a home pregnancy test. If your on any type of birth control, change of diet or stress, these too can cause a change in your cycles.
