Has anyone had a membrane sweep?

Hi im 38 weeks and 4 days. I have been loosing of mucas over the past few weeks. I had a sweep yesterday was 2-3 cm dialated. This morning i have had a bloody
Show and got period type cramps and back ache. Is labour on its way? Did a sweep work for you?

I didn't have my show unrolled 10mins b4 my daughter was born sorry can't help u there go 4 a long walk or if u have a exercise ball have a bounce on that

I really hope so waters havent gone or no contractions as yet but midwife did say they give 48 hours for the sweep to work. Did anyone go into labour after having a show?

I don't know what a membrane sweep is but I'm pretty sure ur on ur way to being in active labor deff give dr a call & start walking :)

I had my sweep on a Wednesday and was in labour the Friday but as u have a a bloody show I wud say it won't b long good luck

I had mine done on a sunday afternoon and my baby arrived by 9.30 the following morning....sounds like you're on your way, good luck!!

I lost my mucous plug on a monday, had the sweep on friday on my due date and then I went into labour 7pm the same night. Sounds like labour is on its way, phone your dr/midwife to let them know

Oh wow not sure what a membrane sweep is but i have had 2 kids and i would say u need to.most def call your doctor sounds like labor to me loosing your mucas plug means your ready for labor....good luck.
