HcG level

My HcG level went from 54 to over 3600 in 4 days.  Is that a normal or low increase.  I'm now about 5-51/2 weeks preg. but I look like I'm 21/2-3 mon. preg.

My levels did the same thing.

3w6d HCG was 67.6
4w5d HCG was 1,374.8
5w5d HCG was 15,416.5

Tech thought we could have a second baby, but really couldn't see the sac that great at last u/s.  I go again tomorrow to see if anything is there.

I'd say your levels are fine.  You doctor didn't seem concerned, did he/she???

I would be interested to know what the doctor had to say.  Since the general rule is to have your hormones double every 2-3 days, that would take you from 54 to 108 to 216 (roughly).  So the fact that it is 3600, instead of in the 200's seems high.  I hope everything goes well and it does not turn out to be a molar pregnancy.

Well, I'm waiting to hear what my HCG was today, but we do only have one baby!  I'm not complaining...I'm thankful to have that one!  Everything looks good and RE said numbers are great!  So, I'm not worrying.  Saw our little bean today...heart just beating away!!!!

  That's pretty high. Mine tripled every 24 hours, and it turned out I had ID twins (both in one sack, so there was only 1 sack to be seen that early). So, you may have 2! 2 is fun, after the first sleepless year. And it's indescribably sweet to hold 2 tiny little babies.
