Hcg Injections Anyone??

I am desperate to find out if anyone else has ever had HCG injections AFTER they found out they were pg?  I am coming off 2 miscarriages and found out that my hcg levels were only at 15 (I was at 14 dpo), I was kind of sad cause I thought they should've been higher, the dr started me on progesterone right away and I had the levels checked again 7 days later (22 dpo) and my levels were only at 60.  It's clear my levels are very very low and I am so sad and it's just hard to deal with the fact I may have another mc.  My dr gave me a HCG shot (24 dpo), it's experimental and not FDA approved.  There are fertility drs that use it and it's been helpful 10-20% of the time.  My dr that I go to is not a fertility specialist, as my insurance won't pay for that until I have 3 mcs, but she did find out about the shot from someone who is.  I am wondering if anyone else has had any injections after they were already pg and if it helped, I can only find info that people get them when they ovulate.  My dr also upped my progesterone to 100 mg 3x/day.  Any info will help.  Does anyone have any experience with this shot or with HCG numbers so low?  I go in in 2 days for another shot and number test.  Thanks!
