Heartburn

Im 14 weeks 4 days and this morning have woke up with THE WORST heartburn ever.

Is this normal this early on??

What can i take for it???

YEah its normal. I had it soo bad I could hardly stand it with my first pregnancy! It was horrible!  

Doc told me I could take Zantac 75. I was eating those like candy!  Never hurt my son...he is now 6 1/2.  And they work like a charm.  

Mylanta you can have too. But I tried that..it dint work. NOthing worked! Just Zantac 75 and thank god I had those!

oh man do I remember that.  With my daughter it was terrible and had to get a prescription for prevacid.  This time around it hasn't been so bad, but hopefully by the second trimester you'll be a bit more comfortable.

i get heartburn so bad sometimes i throw up and sometimes i just cant simply talk im 16 weeks today and its the worse ever im having heartburn right now

My heart burn/acid reflux has only gotten worse with this pregnancy! I noticed it sometime in the 2nd trimester and I am now 32 weeks. Sometimes I just get an awful burning in my throat as well. I usually take tums, it works for a little while and but always comes back!! I figure I am almost there, so I think I can hang in there. But like these other ladies have said, you may want to get a prescription for something if it's really bad. I feel your pain!!
