Heartburn!!!

Well, I officially have heartburn for the first time this pregnancy. Wow, this is something I didnt miss. Ugh!!!

i have heartburn so bad last night when i threw up the acid it looked like a little blood came out..i cant sleep and it makes me very afraid to eat i cant wait to have this baby

Tell me about it. I have never even had it as bad as you did, but it sure can be painful. Have you found anything to help it? I heard that there are some over the counter meds like um, gosh I can't think today at all. Anyways, I know there are those one a day heartburn relief meds that are okay to take while preggers.

I had it so bad the other day i wanted to cry. I felt like a frie breathing dragon. Coke helps :)

Really? Coke? I will have to remember that. It seems to me that it would make it worse, but thanks for the tip. I will definitely keep that one in mind as it tends to come and go for the rest of my pregnancy.

i read that milk helps but i haven't tried it yet..i actually got some sleep last night even though i still had heartburn but at least i didnt throw up!!

Hi Ladies, I have REALLY bad heartburn all day everyday! LOL
TUMS are Magic and you can have up to 5 or 6 a day and they taste great!

When I was preggers with my second, tums helped, but not all the time. So far this time they have helped though. Thanks. Just dont buy the sugar free ones, they are GROSS!!!! ick!!!

hey ladies.... my heartburn came back full force recently as well. man does it hurt!! i didnt miss it at all!! it hasnt made me throw up yet, but i've sure come close. tums usually work, but not all the time. ive heard that milk helps, but wouldnt know cuz im lactose intolerant! i am always carrying tums with me EVERYWHERE i go... its insane!!
