Oh, someone posted this question on my baby forum a while ago and the women all told her to go to the dr! If anything, they can find out what it is and give you some relief, you should not have to be tortured by being itchy all day if they can help. Good luck :)
I was told by my OB that the itchiness all over my body is caused by the increased estrogen in a pregnant womens body. I would still mention it to your dr just to be safe though.
I had itching on my shins and I thought maybe it was razor burn or dry skin...turns out it was minor swelling...no lotion or anything in the world helped!
My doctor said not to use any anti-itch products!
Call your doctor to get checked and be sure it is nothing serious.
Thankz for your responses,I called my doctor and he told me that it's normal to itch for one or two days but not for a long period of time.He is going to test my liver to make sure it's working correctly. He said it could be something called Cholestasis. Hopefully it won't be nothing bad for my baby.
I started itching during my pregnancy at like 30 weeks. Nothing would make it go away, I would even wake up in the middle of the night itching. Anyways ended up being PUPPP and not going away until a couple of days after I gave birth. Ugh. Probably the #1 reason I don't ever want to be pregnant again.
