Sorry it took so long to update y'all.
Thanks for Cindie though, she did it all for me. lolol

I dunno what was up with my pc.
Josh's dad did something to our laptop when he was fixin it and ended up locking it from doing a bunch of stuff on myspace and locking it from logging into medhelp and my email. lol
Ontop of that I was pretty much bed ridden most of the time I've been home from the pain.

So yeah.
As you've heard, I had a very very BAD birthing experience, but I'm GLAD it's done and over with.
I'm pretty much healed up, but I'm fixin to go back to the doc's cuz there's a lump about twice as big as an egg in my lower left side of my stomach... and if it doesn't go down, or if I start running fever I'll be going back to get it checked out like the nurse asked.

My stomach is saggy and looks absolutely DISGUSTING from all the stretch marks and stretched skin n what not.
But it looks MUCH better than it did last week. lol.
Last week I couldn't hardly walk without my stupid belly flap jiggling around n all gross n what not. lol

So ANYWAYS.
I guess everyone's gunna want some input on miss ma'am over here. lol

She was born on Friday, October 10th at 9:37pm.
She weighed in at a whopping 10lbs 13oz [[I guess I should be thankful for the cesarean. lmao]]
And was 21" long.

Y'know what's funny-
October 10th was my original due date when I ended up getting my very first ultrasound around 9 weeks or so at the Tyler ER. lmao
But then once my doc did the LMP thing it was changed to the 2nd. lolol

I dunno, I found that kinda interesting. lol

hey congratulations to you!!! what happened that went so wrong with your birthing experience? was it a planned c-section?
they say that the first date you are given for due date is always the most acurate although it wasnt for me lol

I am so sorry you had such a bad birthing experience BUT.....Ivy is soooo BEAUTIFUL!!! She really is. And she was def a whopper. Damn girl, u might just as well say she weighed 11 lbs!! 3 more ounces!! My babies have been 6.8, 8.6, and 7.3.  I would prob die tryin to have over a 10 pounder!! Well, congrats!!! She is GORGEOUS!!

Aww Riot, I read that other thread with what happened, and I am so sorry!  I would seriously sue or something!  Your little Ivy is adorable, and atleast now when she is older and getting ready to pop out a kid you can scare her!  LOL  :-)   I hope that twice the size of an egg lump goes away!  Hang in there, and in no time your stomach will disappear!  When your up for it, I'd say to start walking, and bring Ivy with you!

Yeah, he over slept cuz he was up practically all day, all night and all day again with me in the hospital, getting induced and then waiting all night for that cervix ripener to start working... then up all day with me in labor then the c-section.
Needless to say, he was exausted.
But it still would have been better on his part if he would have stayed with me.
They had a pretty comfy chair in there that folded out into a bad for him that he could have slept on that night too.
Thankfully the next night [[my last night there]] he stayed overnight with me.

And thank god for those two nurses that took care of me that night after my c-section because since Josh wasn't there, and I was so tired n helpless pretty much- they were nice enough to take Ivy to the nurses station outside of my room and look after her while I slept, and just brought her to me and woke me up when she needed to be fed.
So that was good.

I'm just glad it is over with and my recovery is going smoothly.
But now I think Ivy has a little cold cuz she's been sneezing alot, and she projectile vomited ALL over me earlier this evening and it was ALOT.
So she's gunna be seeing the doc on friday.
I took her temp and it was fine, thankfully.
Her vomiting could have been the result in something I ate last night that didn't agree with her stomach. =/

I guess I'm deff gunna be staying away from ANYTHING with onions in it, cuz I had 2 meals with onions in them yesterday. =[

OMG 10lbs, DF keeps telling me, you should just have a c-section, im like why, he's like what if the baby is 9lbs i just dont think your gina will go back to normal, omg was i lol at him.

Im also sorry you had a bad birthing experience, i read the thread the other day and was like wow, how could nurses n doctors not listen to the patient.  Well im glad you are healing well, but dont let one bad experience discourage you from future babies:)

I am very glad the nurses helped you out!  And its good to hear he stayed the last night.  

Ivy might be sneezing from dust particles getting into her nose.  It happens alot with newborns!  Their little nose hairs are really long enough to stop some dust.  But yeah get her checked out!  Doesn't hurt!  :)

I feel alot better these past couple days.
But now I think I was addicted to the pain meds the hospital sent me home with because now I'm having troubles sleeping now that I'm not taking them. LOL
God, it's just one thing after the other.

I feel like such a DORK.
I went ALLLL the way to the middle of nowhere today for Ivy's doc appt. cuz it was supposed to be her 2 week check-up... and turns out it wasn't today, it's monday.
Josh n I all get there n what not and they're like, "Uh, we're CLOSED."
I'm like WTF!
And I start getting all mad at the lady and I'm like, "Well if yall are closed, then WHY did y'all give me an appt. for 1pm?!?"
And she's like, "Who gave you the appt?"
And I'm like, "I dunno, one of y'all did!"

And then so I whip out the papers and take a look at the date and I'm like OMG!
I swear I just wanted to like punch myself in the face after that one.
LOL

Then Josh's mother was making fun, but then sympathising [[sp?]] with me, and she's like, "It's okay, I had the same problem. These little goobers right here [[referring to Josh and his daddy]] it's all their fault. Once they plant their lil Chipman [[their last name. lol]] seed in you, it's all over with. You start losing brain cells n get stupid n sh*t."
