by jojo42091, Aug 10, 2008 12:52AM
The other day i was talking to my boyfrined on the phone and i felt really weird and didnt know what that feeling was aand so i took a drink of water and i felt fine for like 5 minutes then it got worse so i told him to hang on because i didnt feel very good so i ran to the bathroom and just started vomiting like twice and then after that morning i havent got sick yet but my stomach hurts really bad and i cant really eat enything or sleep very well, when i got sick all that it was, was clear but i mean it was hard to vomit and get it out so i mean i just sat there for like an hour with my boyfriend on the phone with me. So what do i do and how do i know if it was morning sickness, im kinda scared because this is my first time being pregnant and havin these feelings like this? Someone please can you explain this to me?

oh it's morning sickness, I'd say.. or day sickness, afternoon sickness, ANYtime sickness for that matter! It's just a feeling like you have the stomach flu almost or ate something bad.. You just have to puke even if you didn't even eat anything, for no reason at all! If you aren't very far along this is extremely common. It will likely go away.

so then you DO know you're pregnant?

*morning sickness does not affect every woman, however, for those who do experience it, it can last for just a couple days, or throught the entire pregnancy...if it was clear, you probably vomited before you ate anything, and it's not big deal, you drank the water, and that's probably all you had in your stomach.....you're not supposed to take pepto during pregnancy, however maybe some other ladies can tell you what helped them-aside from crackers and water  ;)

if you continue to experience it later on throughout your pregnancy, your obgyn can prescribe something for you that will help to keep it at bay....

good luck and congrats on the baby...have a happy & healthy 9 months, and welcome to the forum!!!
