with this pregnancy I took 3 equate pregnancy test they all came out with a really faint line, so faint I was sure that it was an evaporation line! i then took a first response hpt again very faint line, i took a digital and it said "pregnant' so even though i was sure it was  not correct it was and now I'm 24 weeks pregnant! so for me they have been pretty accurate!

I have used numerous equate brands tests and never had a problem

The false positive I had was very dark and had color to it. The second time I tested FRER was negative and the blue dye test was positive. Mine wasn't equate, I got it bilo, and I think it was actually ept.

FRER are the best tests....sorry false positives are very rare

here is an image from the equate test i took this last time...no doubts about the second line...this was after i got a postitive FRER about 3 days later (wanted to see if it was getting darker)

Use a pink dye test like First Response. Skip the blue dye tests.

Ive never used them but I have herd of problems with the blue dye tests being fairly common. I would avoid them all together and stick with pink dye or digital.
