How soon can you hear the heart beat on a doctors doppler?

I will be 8 weeks and 2 days at my next doctors visit, I was just wondering if they would be able to hear the babys heart beat this early??

Typically between 10-12 weeks but sometimes longer.

It's possible but not likely. IF baby is in the right position at the right time the heartbeat MAY be heard but it is not very likely till 10-12 weeks or later. Sorry!!  But can't hurt to try just don't panic if you can't hear it

Ok thank you. I know some ppl said that they could hear it at 8 weeks but i didnt think that it was possible. I think this is just a check up appointment anyways.
