How to conceive a boy

I have heard there are a few things you can try in order to conceive a baby boy. I would also be happy with a girl. I was wondering if anyone has any info or suggestions for me. I would like to try to have a baby boy. I have heard of the Shettles method - I will definatly try this.

Most of what you hear/read are just old wives tales, but at least you can have fun trying. :)

I agree with Victoria. Boy sperm are supposed to move faster but with me I ended up getting a girl and I know the date of conception. To for sure be able to pick the sex you would have to have fertility doctors mess around with you.

When I tried for my baby I had sex every day and conceived a boy.
If you want a girl, its said to work better if you have sex two days before you ovulate.
Boy sperm swim quicker but die quicker and girl sperm swim slower but live longer.
Also girl sperm thrive in acidic environments, so dont have an orgasm when you make love as that makes the womb more alkaline which is favourable to boy sperm.
But with any baby making process its 50/50, so all the methods may not work.
But the most reliable one is sex every day which goes in favour of a boy
