How to get to a drs appointment without mum knowing

I need to get to a dr or a clinic tonind out what's going on with me but I don't want my mum knowing right now.. Until I find out what's going on.. She talks to my friends mums so stuff would get back to her easily.. How can I go to a drs appointment without her knowing?

I live in Australia to sweetie and I think its easiest if u can somehow get ur health care card and Medicare card without ur mum knowing and just make an app at a bulk billing service.otherwise just tell ur mum ur at the age where u feel more comfortable going by urself and she should trust ur judgement.let her know that ur sensible enough to let her know if something is majorly wrong.

Ok.. It's just to do with my periods.. The last two have been really light and short when they are normally 5 days and heavy..

My boyfriend is convinced nothing is wrong and doesn't want me to see a dr tho..

despite what ur boyfriend says still go to a doctor...its best knowing what's up even if its something minor

It's not uncommon for our periods to be a little randomly irregular at times, but I agree, it would probably be good for a doctor to check you out.

Your mom might surprise you. I'm Catholic, but when I was 18 I came home from college needing birth control. My mom booked the appointment, took me to the doctor, filled the prescription, and never said a word to make me feel uncomfortable. She said yes, we're Catholic but you're old enough to make your own decisions and I told your father if you ever asked for them, I would get you birth control pills. Completely shocked me, but in a good way. :)
