I am in need advice from Women with only one Ovary, PLEASE!!
I am 26 years old, and have only one ovary. I had surgery at 13, they had to remove my left ovary and tube. I was then told that thing would be fine. Well I have never been able to have a period on my own at all, the only way is by birth control. I have had my hormone levels check and my FSH has been 74.91 - 82.00 and my LH
has been 32.0. i am not sure if this is normal or if anyone else has had about the same numbers. If you could please help or alteast give me advice, it would be so appreciated!! I am afraid that my numbers are very messed up and that my chances of conceiving will be impossible now! Thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully you can help me with your own cases. ~brandi
i only have one ovary and tube, but have not had issues with periods. i think you need to see a specialist to confirm whether or not you produce eggs. one ovary and tube is fine as long as it's functioning.
If I were you and I wanted to get pregnant, the best thing to do is to go to a Fertility doctor. They will artificially make you ovulate, bring your period and get you pregnant. Don't think you are infertile, there are so many women with one ovary that get pregnant!!
