I have to go into hospital for 24hrs

So i went to see my midwife again on thursday just like i have to do every week and because my urine test came back showing protein and lots of other stuff (again), i am having to go into hospital for 24hr testing. The chlymidia test came back negative just like i thought it would. I have asked the midwife if there would be any chace of me being induced early but she said no because i havnt got high blood pressure, it is usually about 125/70 and that is really good. My midwife made me an appointment for thursday afternoon to see my doctor and she gave me some tablets for a urine infection even though she didnt think i had got one, so hopefully next week when i go to see the midwife there wont be anything in my urine. I dont know when i have to go into hospital i just have to wait for the phonecall to tell me when to go in,im so stressing now.Its been going on and on for weeks, i just hope i find out very soon whats going on.

I am so glad to hear the clymidia test was negative.  Bet that takes a load off your shoulders.  Did you midwife have any idea what could be causing the protein in your urine if she doesn't think it is a bladder/kidney infection?  Hope everything goes well for you!!  Keep us posted!!

Thanks for peplying! I was so happy when the clymidia test came back, i sort of knew it was going to be negative but the thoughts were going through my mind that Lee had  cheated, i shouldnt have doubted him. My midwife is clueless to what is happening and so is my doctor. When i went to see my midwife on thursday it was showing that i had protein and leucocytes in my urine and she was going to send the sample to the hospital once again, so i will have to wait untill monday or tuesday for the results. I just hope i get a call from the hospital one day next week to go in.

i am so glad that u tested negative for the std...was anything said about a possible problem with your kidneys? i think it was mentioned before...just to ask the midwife to be on the safe side. best of luck and hope it all works out for you :)

On thursday i asked my midwife and the doctor about the possibility of it being anything to do with my kidneys but they didnt think it was. When i go into hospital i am going to mention it to the doctor and see if there is any tests i can have done to rule that out.I am just hopeing and praying it is nothing serious, and i am trying not to stress too much because i know that wont help.
