So my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant. My cycle is usually 20-24 days and heavy when I get it. Its never late but can sometimes been early. Any other time its pretty heavy and constant. Well today is day 30 and I've been spotting but nothing like what's normal for me. I've taken a pregnancy teat and it came back negative but with being late and it being abnormal I'm a little concerned. Also I've been tired all the time, been having cramps and lower back pain, and sensitive breast. This is also abnormal usually around my time of the month I don't get any of these things. I'm just a little concerned...

it sounds like you have a good chance of being pregnant, if your spotting doesnt get heavier I would wait a couple more days and retest using first morning wee

I went through this with my first child.  I ended up having spotting throughout my first 2 trimesters during my normal time of the month.  You could have had a false negative, which I also had.  I would contact your doctor.
