If you hcg levels double in 30 hrs that is good right?

They were a bit concerned with my sister in laws pregnancy they thought she had an etopic but on thursday her levels doubled from 1300 to 2740 in less than 30 hrs... and they are saying she is just now 5 weeks so is that a normal level.. at the start of the week they did an u/s and couldnt see anything in the utereus but if her levels are doubling thats a good sign right?

Yes. HCG is supposed to double every 24-48 hours, so it sounds just beautiful. I hope you have a little niece/nephew soon!

Oh, and your levels have to be somewhere around 1900 to see anything in the uterus via ultrasound. They could probably see the baby now, though it won't look like a baby yet. They might just see the yoke sack.
