Im 6 weeks 1 day pregnant and having my first u/s tomorrow..

I am having the u/s because i have had some mild cramping (which is just like period pain) and a couple of sharp pains when i stretch etc.. this is my first baby and i am stressing about everything and looking up any bit of information i can get my hands on!

Has anyone seen/heard the baby's heart beat at 6 weeks and 2 days??

Im not getting my hopes up on seeing much but wanted an idea if anyone else has had a u/s this early.

It's possible to see the heart beat by 6w2d, but DON'T stress out if you don't.  This is on the early side for seeing it, and even a few extra days can make all of the difference.  If they don't see it today, they may have you come back in another week or so to check again.

i guess it could be possiable but my dr told me that u can usually see the heart beat a 8 weeks. i also am going for my first ultrasound tomorrow. from what he told me im 7wks 2 dys now..but ho knows we will see. good luck and dont worry if u dont see a heart beat tomorrow...im sure everything is fine..

I had an ultrasound at 6w 5d and i saw the baby's heartbeat.  Dont stress about everything... I know its hard not to, but try and relax!

I saw my baby's heartbeat at six weeks but I couldnt hear it until later on....I wouldnt worry about the cramps because I had those too and this my first child. At first it feels ALOT like a period but that is because your uterus is stretching. I am 19 weeks and I'm stilling have cramps, of course they went away and came back. If you have any more questions let me know and I can give you what i know :)

I saw and heard my babys heart beat at 6 weeks 4 days. my doc has a very hi-tech machine lol. but not all see muchless hear a heart beat at 6 weeks so dont stress if you dont. like some said he will more than likely tel you to come back in a week or so for another check.

the cramping is very normal as long as it isnt accompanied by heavy bleeding that require a pad. if this happens see your doc right away. Take care and keep us posted!!!

Just thought i would update ladies, just got back from the Ultrasound.. got told im only 5w6d.. but i did get to see the flickering of the heart beat and she said that everything looked good =) VERY HAPPY!!
