Impact on not having a gall bladder on pregnancy

by Laura2424, Oct 19, 2009 01:01PM
Can not having a gall bladder make morning sickness/digestive issues worse during pregnancy? I'm 18 weeks pregnant and still suffering from morning sickness - everything I eat (no matter how bland) upsets my stomach where it burns, I get a weird taste in the back of my throat, and I burp up bile. I've been taking Tums, to no avail though. Most mornings are also spent dry heaving. In addition, I have constipation issues. Won't have a bowel movement for over a week. My doc said to eat more fruits and veggies and take stool softeners. I've been doing that with minimal impact. When I go to have a bowel movement, most of the time all that comes out is mucus and some blood. So just wondering if my not having a gall bladder makes digestion even harder during pregnancy?
