Implantation cramps and spotting

For the past 7 months my period has never been early, only late.  Today I am experiencing cramping (which I get on a regular basis since my miscarriage in December 07) and some spotting - only when I wipe and very little in underwear.  My question is, could heavy, random cramping and some spotting being implantation??? My period should start in 4 days if on time, but usually I'm late - which is why I'm not sure what this is.  My cramping has increased the past few days.  Any help would be appreciated!

take a pregnancy test.....

I found out i was pregnant a week ago and today was rushed to hospital with heavy cramping and bleeding when i wiped. Every thing was ok thank god and there was a little heart beat but midwife said it was the embrio implanting and that were the pain and bleeding was coming from.

I miscarried in December so that pain/bleeding is something I will neve forget! But I will definitly not hesitate to go to the ER if anything increases.  I am going to wait a couple days and see if the spotting goes away because it may just ended up being my period.  Thank you for your input though, it's nice to know that other people go through the same thing!  Good luck with your pregnancy :)
