Induce labor

ok, im trying to find out how to induce labor, does anyone know? and ive tryed casterol oil it was disgusting,lol, and sex, and chamomile tea, and nothings working, does anyone have a better idea!

Your baby will come when good and ready.  There is a reason why your body hasnt gone into labor yet.

How far along are you?  I see that you posted in early July that you were 8 weeks pregnant which would mean you arent due for about 3 months.

I don't understand. On your profile is says you're only 32 weeks. You don't need to be trying to induce AT ALL. Your baby is not ready. Babies born this early spend a lot of time in the NICU because their lungs are not mature enough or at all. I think you should seriously reconsider trying to induce your labor.

You shouldn't do anything to induce labor.  Especially things that would hurt the baby - like castor oil.  There is a reason you're pregnant for around 40 weeks - it takes that long for the baby to fully develop.  Your doctor should make the decision to induce.  I hope you've reconsidered especially if you're only 32 weeks.  You've still got a good month and a half left!

Check out the marchofdimes website. Premature babies may be tiny and cute but they come with many, many health problems.

Developmentally baby is not ready to enter the world.  NOTHING is fully developed.  Not only is baby going to have a difficult time after entering the world premature, there is an increased chance that baby could suffer hardships later in life (ie. learning disabilities etc.).  Please rethink trying to induce.  Pregnancies are 40 weeks for a reason.

i dont understand why youre even trying to induce? is there a reason why your trying to have your baby early? 32 weeks is way too early...that exactly what we try to avoid during pregnancy not something we try to make happen. i really hope you change your decision but am also very curious as to why you want to induce so early.

I, however, am 37 weeks. Any suggestions for if I go over? DH doesn't want to try sex, he's too worried that it'll do something bad. I've even had the doctor try to tell him that it's okay. (I need some excitement, too!) I've already got walking down, I've been doing that for a few weeks not. Not trying to induce, but just to stay healthy. I also heard that pineapple works occasionally?

Dear is there a specific reason you are wamting to try to induce this early? Maybe you should talk about that and we can help you. I had all my babies prematurely! My last one was born at 23 weeks and she did not make it, it was horrible and there is not a day that goes by I do not think of that day or my precious daughter. My daughter before her was born at 30 1/2 weeks and she was only 3lbs 8oz and that is big most babies are only 2lbs at that age. It was very scary her being in the nicu. Please why would you want to induce at this time? Are you safe from abuse? Are you young and scared?? We are here to help and there are lots of places to help you around were you live my dear. Please do not put you or your baby at risk to die by trying to induce to early. We are here for support in any way.

sorry i was thinkimg stupid girls!! i really didnt think about the consequences, sorry, but everyones right, WAIT!!!!! thats what im gonna do, im just gonnna have patience and wait, is just that i want her already and im anxious and i was thinking dumb, but it was just for a sec! i promise i wont do nothing to hurt my baby and ill wait til i go into labor myself, which is when my babgirls ready!! thanks everyone for ya"lls support, and advise.

It is OK everything is fine and if you need to talk go t my profile and writ eme a note. You are fine and I do not condem you. I was abused during my pregnancyies and wish I coudl get it over even though I never would husrt my baby. We all have ,any emotions during rpegnancy and don't feel bad. You have three beasutiful children and your DH has taken in your daughter. You are fine and you can make it! Feeling every kick is worth spendinany time in the nicu. You do not have much longer. I will count down with you Sweetheart. It is OK. Please don;t feel bad and liek I said it will be all right:)
