Hi,
I have been using Durex Lubricant gel on my wife's vaginal due to her dryness. Is it contraceptive? Thanks in advance

Well i wouldnt use it as the only means of contraceptives. Although some lubricants may contain a spermicidal ingredient this can not be used as an effective contraceptive! Look on the label of it and see if it says spermicidal ingredients or spermicidal gel anything like that. If not then it is not contraceptive! Hope this helps!

Hi,
I have checked the lable, it says "it does not contain spermicide". I and my wife are planning to have baby. So it is ok to get conceived?

If you want to get pregnant try using some lubricant more natural or use Preseed...I don't know, I've never had to use lube

Preseed is awesome. My husband calles it the most natural-unnatural thing.

If you and your wife are planning on trying for a baby now then this is absolutely fine to use. Have fun with it and good luck!

You can order Preseed online. It is the only proven sperm-friendly lubricant. Even though the label on your Durex bottle says it does not contain spermicide, most lubricants still kill sperm.

I am pregnant and me and my husband has been using Durex since. That was the most handy we saw from the pharmacy. See, it did not stop me from getting pregnant. I think its safe.

My question though, is - if it is safe to use now that I am pregnant? I did lost the interest, it just hurts.
