to double their size by the evening. I tried drinking more water, limiting my salt and it's not helping. I'm really worried considering it's so early and i have so much more time to swell. I hate to think what it'll be like after 30 weeks. I can actually press on my shins
dents which totally disgusts me. The swelling is gone down in the morning but i can still leave those little impressions in my shins, even though my legs look no longer swollen. Baby is doing great...20 week ultrasound was perfect, i measuring a day ahead of my due date but other then that everything was good. I'm just curious if anyone else has had this or if i'm a lucky one who swells up like a blimp. At least that's what i feel like :(
100% normal. I had swelling with my 1st two, luckly I have had no swelling with this pregnancy....If everything is looking good there is no need to worry!
was it bad though? this is my whole legs...both of them...they feel like tree trunks by the end of the day..it's a struggle just to drag them around....and did you have it where you could actually push it in and it would leave finger prints..i heard that's a very big sign of pre-eclampsia..that's what terrifies me.
It "could" be a sign of PreEc. if you were showing Other signs of it. but you are not so its just swelling...Yes, I could push on it and it would leave a finger print. The best thing to do is to try and keep your feet up when ever you can...
yeah that's what i've been trying to do..and it normally goes down pretty quickly once i get off my feet at the end of the day...thanks for your help :)
um, i had the same thing, i couldnt wear my marriage rings after 5 months, i was beinging to swell, i had PRE EC..... just go to ur appt, and they check for protien, nothin u can really do about that, exept, elevate feet, and drink gallons of water.
how long before you were diagnosed did you have the swelling? my doctor tells me i shouldn't worry because my bp is so good and no protein what so ever in my urine...she said it's just normal for some people to swell
