I'm aware that the best way to find out if you're pregnant is to be tested, however, I didn't even suspect I might be pregnant until this week and my Last Menstrual Period (LMP) - or so I THINK it was my LMP - was only 27 days ago, and I menstruate every 35 - 40 days.
My Last Menstrual Period was a normalNormal saline flush flow but I had no signs or symptoms of an impending period, and it was a bit early. I generally ALWAYS have cramps before I start my period, and this one started with NO cramping.
i'm sorry, being tested for pregnancy isn't the BEST way to know...it's the only way apart from an ultrasound scan if you're quite a way along. going off symptoms or bodily changes is not a reliableReliable gentle laxative way to tell at all since many, many things can be the cause of these changes, not just pregnancy.
I really wouldnt think that you are pregnant if you have started "your period". With or without cramps, although some women do bleed during pg its not usually heavy like a period (and if it is its not usually a good sign). As far as a "bump" normally that would not be noticiable until at least the end of the first/ begining of the second trimester 13 weeks +, probably even later if this is your first pg. But anything can happen and every women is different.
You can take a test and it should be reliable as soon as 12 days after you think you conceived.
Let us know how it goes if you test! Good Luck!
Yeah, I didn't think a crampless period should be a sign, which is why I wasn't at all concerned when I had it.
But then I started thinking about all the **** people told me about spermicide not being an effective mthod for bith control. - I really did brush it off my shoulders and thought "people probably aren't using it right," but then I read somewhere that it has an 18% failure rate when used perfectly. I suppose that's my primary reason for freaking out.

A crampless period doesnt mean a thing and certainly isnt a sign of pregnancy.
