Is discharge an early sign or pregnancy?

If I am pregnant, I am about 4 weeks. Not for sure yet. A few days ago I had a "snot-like" discharge when I wiped. It was like clumps of  of clear  thick discharge. I have never had this before. Today, I again had more of this thick dischard, but this time it was white. I have never had anything like this before....and with all of the other symptoms...it just seems like i am. But is this kind of discharge an early sign of pregnancy?

Discharge can be a sign of pregnancy but i would personally not take this as a sign that you are as not a day goes by for me without some kind of discharge so it is hard to use discharge as a pregancy sign in my opinion but then if you dont normally get discharge and you have started to expereince alot then it very well could be a sign for you!! good luck. discharge can mean many things, but it was a sure sign of pregnancy for me!  i had, and continue to have loads of it!  sometimes it's clear and sometimes more lotiony.  it started a few days before my missed period and has continued.  have you missed your period yet?  good luck to you!

When I went to the doctor first, I had said that I technically didnt miss my period because I had light spotting for about a week and a half and my period was supposed to come after that happened. But he told me that if I did not have my period like normal, then it doesnt count. I have tested a few times now, but they all have come back negative. My mom took took urine and blood tests with all of her kids (and one is only 2) and she always got negative results until the 2nd month....thats just wierd. But becasue of that, my doctor said that its very possible that im the same way. So he told me jus to wait until my next period which is due on the 30th. but it just seems like this discharge thing is another thing to add to the list of symptoms that i have...and its one that ive never had before...

I have something very simular, i am 17 and tryin for a baby. me and my bf have had sex on numerous occasions, i am 2 days late for my period, we first had sex a month ago and 3 days after we had had sex, i had a light brown, pinkish bleed for 3 days and ever since then we have been havin sex at least twice a week, and now i have tender breasts, im always tired, i feel dizzy and i get lots of headaches and today i went to the loo and i had a thick white discharge in my knickers. am i pregnant? please tell me i am :)

Discharge is not an adequate sign of pregnancy as it can mean so many different things. It's very unreliable.

Well i still haven't come on yet :) that will make me now 4 days late, i am going to do another test when i am 7 days late and see what the result is. I have now light cramping, its not at all like the cramps i get when im on my period. could this be a sign aswell. as this would be my first pregnancy i dont know what to expect.

Just keep people updated, i went to the loo about an hour ago and i had a streak of bright red blood, i had no cramping, and normally when i come on i have extreme period pains, i have looked it up on the internet and what i have is often mistaken for a period and usually comes around the time your period would come. it is either breakthrough bleeding or implantation bleeding. I am goin to get a blood test sometime this week to determine wether i am infact pregnant or not.

I had implantation bleeding with this pregnancy. It really wasn't like what you're talking about. Although, I'm sure it can vary from person to person, but mine was light brown and lasted for a few days. If you're only "4 weeks pregnant" you wouldn't be having trouble fitting into your pants. It's way to early for that. If you think you're pregnant and you're not getting positive urine pregnancy tests, then you need to get a blood pregnancy test. That would show positive by now.

Oky this is what happend to me.. I am 3 days late so far, i t00k a urine test it came back negative i t00k a bl00d test but the d0ckter said it might be to early to tell, i am having peri0d like cramps f0r the past 2week very light but i can feel them. My b00bs hurt, i get nauses in the m0rning fr0m eating headaches killing me, ive been bl0ated and c0nstipated 4 the past two weeks, i feel very em0ti0nal ive had a light pinkish sp0tting last week, this week i had a jelly like discharge and t0day a white discharge, and i have been sexualy active with my boyfriend for this past 3weeks.. Because you're sexually active, it's always possible, but we can't tell you based on what you've told us. Symptoms are not a good judge to use because you can get them and not be pregnant, or you can have none and actually be pregnant. You'll have to either have another blood test done (request a beta blood count) or to take another test with first morning urine in a few days.

I did a urine test ths m0rning and while turning pink b0th lines appeard light but after a minute or so the sec0nd line faded it was very faint alm0st n0t see it, what d0es this mean.?

Hi I had my coil taken out 4 weeks and 1 day ago and still haven't had a period I've tested a couple of time but says neg, I've had sore boobs, head ache cramping and now everytime I go to the toilet I have thick cloudy discharge, I know after having the coil out (mirena) you have side effects! Shall I wait to test? This will be my second child, so these symptoms are very simular but know they can also be due to the coil being removed!

Are you sexually active? If so then YES you can be pregnant--beyond that we can't tell you anything. You need to take a pregnancy test and go from there. Guessing is a waste of time and you need to find out if you're pregnant so you can start getting proper care.

Hi I had my mirena taken out also about 4 weeks ago. I bleed after that for 5 days and then i experenced the mirena crash 2 weeks after removal i swore that i felt pregnant. i was nauseous and had headaches i was peeing all day long and all night. then it stopped. its been almost 2 weeks since any symptoms but im nauseous once again and im having alot of discharge which isnt normal for me. i constantly feel wet down there (srry if tmi) but its exactly how i felt we i was pregnant with my first. minus the nausea i never had it when i was pregnant with my first. Now im hoping for #2 im going to test friday to see if im pregnant thats when my period is due.. I had my period the whole time i had mirena.. So heres to hoping for a sticky little bean..lol
