Is it possible to miscarry twins days appart

I am on another website to help me with my loe of my twins i lost them five days appart and i posted my story and someone made the rudest comment saying im lying and need to get educated because you lose twins with in hours of eachother and i lost mine five days apart. Just to prove to her can you guys tell me that this is possible. I know for a fact you can have one miscarriage and one baby survive with twins so obviously u can lose them days apart but she just thinks im lying but who would lie about something like that. Bu anyways please someone who legit knows please tell me yes or no I already know the answer i went through it

I am so sorry that you had that happen first for loosing your twin but also for this woman saying this. I know for a fact that it is possible, I too went through this a few years ago. Even twins can develop at different rates, with this pregnancy I started out with twins but lost one, I thought I would loose both like with my other pregnancies but I am now 17 weeks and expecting a healthy little girl. I am so sorry for you loss and hope you will have the comfort you need.

I'm so sorry for your loses, some people can be so rude and inconsiderate, this person needs to.get educated. It is definatly possible to loose them days apart. Weeks apart. Or whatever. Again I am so sorry for what has happened.

Let see is that woman is crazy? yes (sorry for being rude) she is relating pregnancy with ovulation. (stupid) yes ovulation happens one after another giving max 1hr and min 5-10mins. however with pregnancy its different. you have totally two sacs ( i am not talking about identical twins). two separate pregnancies are happening in your body at that stage. some women MC one baby and go on with second. it totally depend on babies how they develop.
in your case if it was in early stage one baby must have stopped growing causing you excessive bleeding and other baby must have stopped growing after 5 days. or they might have stopped together but every baby takes time to shrink and cause MC.
i am sorry for your loss. i hope you recover soon. that woman has no right to criticise you. some women loose their one twin in later pregnancy. and they get surgery done to remove one and carrying on with other.
ITS ALL ABOUT BABIES DEVELOPMENT.
in identical twins woman have only one sac but two babies so there's a BIG possibility that when she looses one she looses other one with it.

i hope i have explained it well.. and please do not care what other people say. the way you can read your body no one else can. so keep plenty of rest and hopefully you will conceive another twins soon enough :)

Yes, you are correct.  I have been a L&D nurse for years.  There have been patients that have lost one twin in one sac and the other remained.  We have either placed an emergency stitch in an attempt to hold the second pregnancy (for several days) or the baby simply held it's own.  Sadly, often these attempts fail while others have been successful.  It is possible to be successful if there are 2 sacs.  The one baby, usually baby A-at the bottom sometimes ruptures spontaneously while baby B on top remains and may have a chance.  Sometimes these babies deliver hours apart and some days apart.  We pray for days and time to save the remaining baby.  Not only do you mourn the loss of the one baby but hold out such hope for the second.  I am so sorry for your the loss of your twins.  I have sat and hugged many women in your situation and cried right along with them.  You will be in my prayers.  Great big hug to you!  I am always willing to listen.

I'm so sorry to hear that and that lady is wrong as all the others have mentioned here.  I was suppose to be having twins this pregnancy. I lost a twin at 10 weeks, but the other baby is now 33 weeks and they say healthy.  I'm so very very sorry for your loss.
