Is swollen ankles supposed to go away?

For the last 2 weeks my ankles have been constantly swollen. Is it supposed to go away or is this normal? They ache all day and always are swollen despite me elevating them. I see my doc next wednesday, so I will mention it to her, but anyone else have this issue?

I had severe swelling in the ankles and hands when i was pg with my son. The doctor told me that i had too much salt intake and needed to elevate my feet more often. You might check with your doctor though just to be sure. Hope that helps.

I'm 15w6d and I've been getting pretty bad knee, leg, ankle and feet aches at night time.
I keep them elevated, I put ice on them, I rub vix into the joints and I still have no luck.
My feet are swollen and getting bigger, my fingers and toes look like lil sauseges, and my angles look like someone stuffed golf balls in them.
It's normal.Google it, they'll tell yah!
