Is this normal

by frnchfry81, Oct 30, 2007 08:33AM
This is my first pregnancy. And by the ultrasound done 2 weeks ago they figured I was 12 weeks 5 days. Which puts me now at about 14 weeks. I am having some abdominal pain and slight spotting but it is not really red more of a brownish. I don't want to be one of those people that constantly calls the doctor freaking out. I had some spotting about 3 weeks ago too. But it doesn't seem to be very major.

I had spotting with my first pregnancy and everything was fine - I was paranoid!! I think as long as it is not*fresh* looking bleeding it is nothing to worry about. But if it puts you mind at ease call the Dr to make sure - I think they  are used to pregnant women freaking out!!
