So I just found out June 7th I am pregnant. which makes me 5 weeks and 4 days today. I had a miscarriage back in Feb. and now i am scared of having another one. I know they say your chances decrease after you have one miscarrage (miscarriage), but i am still afraid. Anyways though what i dont understand is, when i am not pregnant i have a 27-28 cycle every month, then when i am pregnant i miss my period... when i miss my period i take a pregnancy test it is a BFN! finally like a week to a week and a half later i test and it is a BFP! My Hcg levels yesterday were 50.3 and my progesterone level was 23.1. I know my levels are ok. but what i dont understand is why my HCG is low all the time. I know as long as it doublesDouble-tussin dm every 48 hours give or take it is ok. I am just bothered by it. I would think they would be higher now. Back in Jan when i found out i was pregnant it was about the same i was almost 6 weeks and my levels were only 45.9 hcg. So i am scared. Anyone else have low levels on HCG in pregnancy? oh i miscarried because my progesterone was 2.1 at 7weeks. last time. I really hope it stays at 23.1 or higher now!!!
It could just be that you ovulate later in your cycle and so the egg implants later. In January did your HCG rise as expected or was it low like the progesterone? All you can really do is wait until your next draw. I understand the frustration and nervousness waiting, I had 2 m/c and with this pregnancy I had a draw at my regularRegular insulin Dr and my OB didn't send me until 9 days later for another draw. Your progesterone looks great, so I hope it is as good at your next draw. I am sorry for your loss and I hope that you have a very healthy pregnancy!
I had a miscarriage in 2006. Then I got pregnant my first cycle after the loss and my daughter is now 2 years old!!! A full-term, healthy pregnancy is definitely possible after a miscarriage.
But I also know your fear. It is SO HARD not to worry! So I made a pact with myself to enjoy every precious moment I was blessed to be pregnant. *HUGS* I can't wait to hear more updates as your pregnancy progresses!
