Just need a little advice

Hey guys I was just wondering if you could give me your opinions or advice. I have been on the pill for 6 months now but when it was time to start my next pill packet I completely forgot due to being so busy with work etc. I was meant to start it on a wednesday but didn't start it till the following monday. I took the pill for the monday and tuesday, then completely forgot about them till the friday just gone where I took all 3 pills at once. I forgot Saturdays pill until late at night and took Sundays pill and todays as normal. I am due to ovulate around now and have had sexual intercourse without any other form of protection. I have got quite sore nipples at the moment and don't ever remember getting sore nipples since before I started the pill. Do you think because of my absent mind that missing my pills this month has caused me to ovulate? What are the chances of me becoming pregnant because of improper usage of the pill?

There is no yes or no answer to this question.  It is highly likely that becuase you missed so many pills over a short period of time that your body ovulated.  Therefore there is a chance you could have gotten pregnant.  My best advice would be to wait until 2 weeks after you last had intercourse and take a test.  Normally I would say wait until you miss your period, but being on hormonal birth control and missing several pills your cycle is likely out of wack and you may or may not have a period or a normal one if you do so you can't rely on that.

Thank you very much :) I think I will wait 2 weeks before I begin to test. My period will be due around then and if I am pregnant, then implantation should have occurred by then shouldn't it? Just a waiting game now haha. Sort of exciting :)
