So we want another baby and after starting to ovulate again after 14 months I resigned myself to not loosing those last 15 lbs. I would start an exercise and diet routine
would come over me, maybe I have a little baby on the way and I shouldn't get on that treadmill and I shouldn't be restricting my diet. Well each and every month I go through the dissapointment of no baby, now I look at myself nearly six months later and I just want to cry. I put off one goal for another and I still have nothing. The other day I actually turned down sex
with my husband because I thought that I was implanting and I didn't want to mess anything up. I just want to say to all of you ttc out there that I know how important having a baby is to you, beleive me I know, but don't put other aspects of your life on hold because of it. If I had made myself my priority than I would be happier and healthier, and probably would have gotten pregnant by now if I was in better shape. Sorry just feeling very emotional.
First let me say that excercise is a good thing...and it's not something you should just STOP becuase you get pregnant...keep it moderate...but by all means get on that treadmill...the healthier you are the better chance you're pregnancy and baby will be healthy. As for restricting diet, that too can be a good thing...cut
out bad fats and sugar...eat more healthy foods...those things will not just help lose weight but will help your body to be in top shape for pregnancy.
Just don't go on any of these fad diets or use diet or weight loss products. You CAN make yourself a priority AND try to another baby.
Sorry you're having such a hard time with this....I'm TTC as well...seems like we've been trying forever now due to a M?C in Dec....UGH! Anyway, like LosingMyMind said, diet and exercise are OK even while pregnant.....When I was pregnant before I started using my Gazelle (exercise machine) after I found out....I ok'd it thru my OB first....just b/c I didn't want to turn into a moose while pregnant! If you used to run on the treadmill...maybe try brisk walking instead just to be safe
.....
Diet - As long it's something like Weight Watchers in which you're still eating the food groups that should be OK as well......Just none of that low carb stuff......And take pre-natal vit.s too......
Good luck, I know how frustrating it is!
