Ketones

So I got my pee test back and my ketones were high. What does this mean? Anything I should be worried about?

It can mean a few things, including that you are not eating enough carbohydrates, but one of the things it can mean is that you have a urinary tract/bladder/kidney infection.  All very common when pregnant, and need to be treated with antibiotics as they can cause your body to go into early labor.  So, I would definitely ask your doc if he suspects an infection or why he/she thinks your ketones are high.

Oh yikes! Ok. I haven't really had much of an appetite so I'm sure that's part of it. I don't feel like I'm getting a bladder infection. Hmmm....thanks for the great info.
