Lactation and early pregnancy

I have 5 children and stopped breastfeeding the youngest in August.  In September I resumed my normal period...well normal for me.  I tend to have very heavy bleeding and pass clots for about 7-10 days.  October my period came as usual and November also.  I had trouble breastfeeding all my children due to congenital tuberous breast deformity, so I never made ALOT of milk to begin with.  So about 1 week after weening my milk production stopped.  About a week ago I noticed my left breast leaking a few drops of what looks like the yellowish colostrum.  I know when I became pregnant with my twins, I had stopped breast feeding a month and a half prior, that the first pregnancy "symptom" I had was lactating a little.  The thing I am concerned about is that I had a TL at the time of my last childs birth via c-section.  That was January 07.  I am wondering if "normal early pregnancy" symptoms are the same if the pregnancy is ectopic.  Having my tubes tied, I read that I am more likely to be at risk for an ectopic pregnancy.  My period is not due until around the 10th of this month so it is too early for a pregnancy test, but if by chance I have a tubal pregnancy I want to get checked as soon as possible to prevent any fatal complications.  Are there any symptoms of an ectopic pregnancy I should be aware of and look out for?  Thanks in advance.
