Late Period recently came of birthcontrol

I was on alesse for about 3 years i just stopped taking my pills the first week of Aug and as normal I  got my period a couple days after not taking my pills. I never went back on my  birth control I know my periods will not be regular for a few months but its now Sept 16 and i still haven't got my period and i took a pregnancy test (the pee on ones) and it came out neg but i have had unprotected sex and I have been feeling tired a little sick and a bit bloated. My question is how long does it usually take to get your period after coming off birth control and get the pregnancy (pee test) be wrong? Did i test too early?

Usually coming of birth control can cause your period to become messed up for a couple cycles. Pregnancy tests can detect the hormone a couple of days before your missed period or if not then than a couple of days after your missed period. How long ago did you miss your period? If you want to find out for sure I would suggest a blood test. Those are always able to tell you for sure whether or not you are.
