Light pink spotting for 2 days

I found out I was pregnant January 7th which was the day my period was due. On Saturday early evening I noticed 2 small pink dots of discharge in my panties & it went away, it actually changed back to my regular discharge immediately then the next day (Sunday) around the same time as yesterday I had 2 more small pink dots of discharge  on my pantyliner and it went away. I don't have any cramping and it's been 3 days and no more spotting; what could have caused the spotting? Should I be alarm or wait for my regular appointment at 6.5 weeks?

Hi Jasmine. The same thing happened to me in my first trimester with my daughter. I totally freaked out! I cried and was so worried. It was light pink spotting and it last for I think 1 or 2 days.

At the time I was 17 and living at home so my mom was there for me. I laid on the couch and she catered to me the whole entire day.

Everything turned out to be ok. Call your Dr and see what they say but just know it happened to me and my daughter is now 15yrs old.

Forgot to mention it was just a few spots. Then the next day a few more spots. Wasnt an all day thing.

Mine was 2 spots each day and I haven't spotted since sunday; I have a appointment with my midwife on Friday! Thanks!

Mine started like that also few spots on different days not one after the other but over 6 days. It's entirely up to u if u wait or not, I waited n a fewdays n saw midwife n se sent me to an early scan n everything was fine just put it down to implantation bleeding, I'd rest with ur feet up n take some time relaxing :)

Yeah, that's usually just implantation bleeding. Don't get worried! I recommend going online to find a week by week pregnancy guide. It will explain what's happening throughout, and save you a lot of doctor calls! :)

Try not to worry. Some spotting can be normal this early... I found out I was pregnant a day before you but my period wasn't due until the 9th:))) congrats!!!

I have my first appointment with my midwife on Friday, probably not an ultrasound but probably just to confirm my pregnancy and my bloodwork.
