Okay, I just realized something amazing as I'm sitting here waiting to go out to lunch (BO LING'S... *drool*). I didn't eat breakfast this morning and I realized that that will have more effect on my weight than the Chinese I'm about to eat.
When you skip meals, you don't lose weight. There are some exceptions, but I noticed with me, I lose more weight when I eat 4-6 small meals a day rather than skipping or waiting a long time between meals (which I do often because I forget to eat).
So if you want to lose weight after baby, make sure you're eating around the clock, small and healthy meals. And try to eat at the same times. It kicks your metabolism into gear, helping you to burn
No I dont. I would be skinner if I did. LOL But Chinese sounds so good right now.LOL that my prob. I love food and going out to eat. Hope you have a good weekend!
LOL! It's a staff lunch for our church. I'm so excited because I never get Chinese and I love it! I've never been to this place before but it's apparently very popular.
Ah, well... I think YOU on a Diet is a good book by Dr. Mehmet Oz but I don't own it! SHUCKS! I need to go buy it.
I just realized people are going to think I'm a nut job because I was just saying I'm TTC but losing weight at the same time?! LOL! I figure until I know I'm preggo, I'm going to at least TRY to lose some of this weight. LOL!
i don't have any weight loss secrets... except that i do just what you said joy about the eating the small frequent meals (and "try" to keep it healthy!). but after our youngest dd was born i purchased Turbo Jam from beachbody.com and i got addicted to it FAST!!! it's so much fun and by the time i found out we were preg again (dd was only 6 months old) i had lost almost all my baby weight already except for like 4-5 more pounds.
also, i think it was on extra or something... but one of the trainers from the biggest looser said that it you're trying to loose weight you HAVE to incorporate some kind of weight training into your routine
. i would never actually use big weights or anything... just light ones to help tone (not body build... unless you want to) like 2.5- 5lb weights for some of your exercises. i'll do that when i start doing my workouts again after baby... :)
Well, i told myself after this one Im going to loss all the weight! Poor HB, When I ment him I was just about to try 17(wow, I'll be 23 in two weeks so its been like 7years.) and I'll gain so much weight since then! like 60pounds and I will keep going up for here(new baby weight).
I am embarrassed to say that I gained 75 pounds when I was pregnant with my son. I went from a 5'6 125 pound girl toe a a 5'6 200 pound mom to be. I don't know how it happened but the weight just started to fall off after he was born. (I nursed for 11 months which may have helped) but other than that I really didn't do much more. I am currently still about 20 pounds from the 125 mark but I am now going to incorporate a little excercise into my life. I am looking for a bike trailer for him and our next baby (whenever that may be)
good luck
out all junk food. No fried foods, no ice cream, no cookies, no chips, no soda, no Starbucks Frappucinos. :) You get the point.
