Lovenox users please read!

Hi there, I have a question regarding Lovenox.  I have borderline clotting levels.. my doc doesn't prescribe lovenox, just baby aspirin therapy.. he does however test levels again after a pos. preg. test, however, I NEVER get one. I saw another doc that recommended starting Lovenox even though I have a borderline level (anticardiolipin - IgM).  Anyone use Lovenox and have success with it? I have had 6 failed IUIs (3 medicated) and 1 failed IVF. I am starting a FET this month. Should I push for Lovenox? The other doc felt that I might need it and can be what is preventing me from getting pregnant. Thanks for all the help!

I have had two m/c's and am positive for homozygous MTHFR.  While this is not the issue that you would take it for, many doctors use only aspirin therapy for treating the MTHFR.  We tried for 17 months after my last m/c to get pregnant, and finally did.  I found a doctor that agreed with my perinatologist that I needed Lovenox, two doctors agreed, so I now take Lovenox once a day, and I am 10 weeks pregnant and the baby is doing great, none of my babies have ever made it this far, so I give a LOT of credit to the Lovenox.   If you have found a doctor that thinks you might need it, I would seek out a second and third opinion. If you need it, then yes you should push for it or find a doctor that will back you.  First get enough opinions to determine for sure if you need it or not, if the determination is yes, then do what you need to do.  : )  Good luck!
