Low Progesterone and 69xxy

Low Progesterone and 69xxy

Hello all,
My question is that I have two healthy boys, ages 6 and 2.5. Finally we have made up our mind to try for another one again.
My first son was concieved normally without any problems and issues. But before I had my second one, I had three very early miscarriages. So my Dr put me on progesterone and I carried the second one full term and he was born healthy in 2008. I had taken progesterone upto 12 weeks only.
Last year 2010, I found out I was pregnant. And we found out that the progesterone was low again, Dr put me on progesterone supplement. However, I miscarried at 7.5 weeks but actually found out at 9 weeks during an ultrasound scan - there was no hearbeat. I didn't bleed just had backpains just like very mild labor pains. I had a silent miscarriage cuz my progesterone was very high due to the supplement as a result I didn't bleed naturally. The Dr did the D&C and they did some testing on the fetus. I was told that the baby had abnormal karyotype 69xxy. In conclusion, it wasnt a normal baby. It was a boy again!!
I'm really confused as to if I concieve (conceive) now, will I still need progesterone? or will 69xxy happen to me again? Please advise...if anyone experienced something similar, please share your story.

I have taken progesterone my last two pregnancies without a problem. Is 69xxy a genetic thing because if so you'd need to speak with a genetic counselor on the chances of it occurring again. It sounds like a rare abnormality because I don't think most people have heard of it. We hear more of Down Syndrome and even then Down Syndrome is rare so I would assume 69xxy is pretty rare.
