Low Progesterone...HELP!

Hi everyone,
This i my 3rd pregnancy. The first miscarred at  weeks(fetus stopped growing), the econd my water broke at 21weeks( it was a boy, we named him Kasheif, thsi happened on 24 Aug.10) Now we are pregnant once more....i am having mixed feelings of fear and nervousness coupled with joy. I did my blood works hcg was 786 at 5 weeks and progesterone at 8.8. Has anyone had low progesterone and had a sucesful pregnancy. Please let me know. I wont be seeing my doctor till the 7th jan.11.
another note, i have NO symptoms whatsoever. NONE. no morning sickness no breast tenderness, to me they r not looking full either. my appetite is still the same...HELP PLEASE...

You don't nessiserily have to have any symptoms with a pregnancy put they should beable to give u something to make your numbers rise

I was given progesterone suppositories 200mg once daily. Did u have this problem?

I had a progesterone level of 13 so they put me on Crinone 8% natural progesterone through the first trimester. I think it might have been overkill in my situation but I appreciated the doctor being cautious. I didn't have hardly any symptoms either. I was worried about that too but now I am very thankful! The progesterone supplements are kind of annoying but It won't hurt anything. I'm sorry for your previous losses and hope that you have a great pregnancy! Best Wishes!

I have been on progesterone for every one of my pregnancies.(and my m/cs too)  I was on 400 mg once daily at night before bed so that way the medicine stayed in all night while I was laying down.  Your level may be low because you are so early.  Its good you are on supplements.  I would call your drs. office and ask for repeat bloodwork to make sure your levels are going up and to put your mind at ease.  With this pregnancy I had no symptoms till around 7 or 8 weeks and I am now 32 weeks.  Good luck.
