M/C question- Sorry it's so long

Ok so my m/c started last Thursday. I had a lot of clots pass, and then on Sunday night I had extremely horrible cramps for about an hour and then I passed my Little Angel. The cramps went away simultaneously (sp?). Anyways, to the point, the bleeding was lighter than AF on Monday morning and I had very little cramping. The dr. said it sounds like my body got everything out on its own since the bleeding wasnt heavy anymore. Well all last night and today, the bleeding has been pretty heavy, and I'm passing clots again. (I havent passed clots since Sunday night). I am going through overnight pads within 2-3 hours. I dont have any cramping. I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this, and if I should call my dr. I'm supposed to be going in for bloodwork on Fri. Thanks in advance for any help.

I am going through exactly the same thing... starte m/c on Friday (spotting before hand)  bled extemely heavy and horrible cramps all day Friday and all friday nite.  Passed my babe Sunday during the day.  Barely any bleeding on Mon or Tues, but Tues nite and today I have had on and off heavy bleeding and today I was passing clots again.  Its crazy isn't it.  I don't cramp when I bleed, but when I have no bleeding I cramp.  Go figure!  I just figured my body wasn't done.  I haven't really rested either.  So who knows.  I just want to start ttc again!  Good luck!

Thanks for your comment! That's funny, we really are in the same boat! I'm so sorry about your loss. I have a new-found respect for women who have gone through a miscrriage. I never realized how hard it actually was on someone. Is your dr having you do bloodwork? My dr said she is going to do bloodwork once a week until my numbers are at 0. I was surprised that she didn't want to examine me, or do an ultrasound to make sure everything has passed. I guess I just expected her to be more hands-on about it, but I guess they see this kind of thing everyday. Oh well, sorry to ramble, ;-) Good luck to you too hun!

You're probably just passing extra tissue. Since your appt. is only two days away, wait until then. The only time you need to call or go to the ER is if you're soaking through a pad within an hour.
