I have MVP but do not take medication on a regular basis.  Current protocol does not even require antibiotics for delivery for those with MVP.  So my MVP did not affect my pregnancies at all, though my doc did have me get an ECG(?) just to check on things.

thanks, I am having an echo tomorrow to confirm the diagnosis and then my doctor wants to start me on medication (to control the symptoms--SOB, palpatations, fatique) but the two he suggested--inderal or atenolol--aren't recommended during pregnancy. I am TTC #2.
