MY FACE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have NEVER EVER, NOT-ONCE-IN-MY-LIFETIME EVER had a problem like I have right now. My face is breaking out! Even as a pubescent child and later a teenager, I did not have breakouts. I maybe had one little blemish every now and then. What the heck is going on?!

I'm 23 and I've heard of some women in their 20s going through a hormonal change that could cause them to breakout. ??? Anyone know about that or know what that is called? I also felt so nauseous yesterday (but not so much today). My fingers are crossed for pregnancy, but my face needs to calm down!

I have had that problem in early pregnancy.  I'm like you.  I may get a pimple here and there but nothing major.  But in my first trimester, it's like I would get a couple and then as soon as they start going away, a couple of more would show up.  I hated it!!!

BFP maybe????  What CD are you on??

I was nasueaus and my face broke out before i got my bfp, infact when i started to tell my clients they said "so that;s what's up with your skin" (being an esthetician my skin is important to me).
Stress is a big factor when it comes to women an acne.(but i'm haveing a brain fart and can't remember what actually causes the acne from stress) and our hormones because around the time of af there is more testosterone in our system which is why women tend to break out around af time (men have a more constant flow so those who have acne it tend to be all the time rather then breakouts)

My face never breaks out either, but in my first few weeks of pregnancy my skin looked horrible! Maybe you are pregnant!

Joy, the SAME thing happened to me!! With all my Pregnancies, my forehead completely BROKE OUT BAD! I NEVER and I mean never get pimples..and I noticed them popping up randomly...one on my chin, on my cheak, close to my hair line etc etc. Than out of nowhere BOOM they were all over my forehead!! It was horrible!! Than when I got my BFP I was like "ahh I shoulda known!!" I've also been getting them on my back and chest...it sucks! But totally worth it!!

i've laways had some pimples here and there, but yea since being pregnant, it's gotten worse!

i have my beta friday 6/6 so by reading these that makes me hopefuly, im like the rest of you, pimple here and there, nothing real horrible, last week, my chest broke out so bad that it looked like i had a rash, little pimples everywhere, even up my neck and around on my neck and upper back (and on my butt my sweet dh pointed out to me)

Wow, maybe I am pregnant! I didn't have this problem with my girls, but EVERY pregnancy is different. Ahhhhh... this is going to make waiting harder! I'm on 8dpo today (I think... I need to go look at my calendar).

I have a few on my chest and back, too (which I NEVER get EVER). If I break out it's like one on my forehead, but this is all over my cheeks and chin. I have like 6 or 7 blemishes on my face. YUCK!

evthing4reason, I do have high testosterone. But I've been treating it with medication for a month now and my symptoms are all but gone. Just these past few days my face decided to break out. I guess time will tell!

I've been breaking out too since trying to conceive, and I have always had blemish free skin! I hope I'm pregnant, but I'm wondering in my case if it's just from being off the pill.  I've heard that the pill helps with complexions. . . I HATE having blemishes though. :-(

Joy...i hope you get your BFP...does Clomid have any side effects like this? Isn't that what you're taking for PCOS?
I'm thinking that maybe you ARE preggo but the clomid is the culprit for the breakouts?????

i was wondering if you knew or anyone knew how to keep your face free of break outs im sure theres no permant soulution lol i was wondering if there were any secret tips to keep it less breakouts :) because i have a bad breakout and i never really had bad skin exceapt ike you i haad a pimple here and there but darn it my face is totally wack now lol i hope you get your bfp joy :)

Well I have to say...being on pregnancy #7 this is the first time that my face REALLY REALLY broke out.  Soooo...perhaps this is the month for you???? ;)

No I am not on Clomid! I'm taking Metformin and it doesn't affect your skin. It's supposed to control the hormones that cause breakouts. It's also safe in pregnancy, so I'm not worried about contining to take it.

I too get breakouts right before AF, thats how I know she is coming..... But I do know when I was mis diagnosed with PCOS that one of the symptoms of PCOS is acne. I found that out when I researched it online. Im 25 and have had this problem since I was 13 or 14. I hope that it is a BFP since all pregnancies are different. GL!

I am complimented on my beautiful complexion all the time, but in my first trimester my face BREAKS OUT and it's terribly embarrassing! I usually get a little bump or two just before AF but never anything very noticeable. Breakouts have been an early sign of pregnancy for me, and a frustrating one at that! Luckily I'm 10 weeks along and it's starting to calm down! GL!!!
