MY PERIOD WONT STOP!!

When I was 13 I had my period for three stright months finally I went to the doctors and they checked my blood and I was anemic. They put me on birth control to stop the bleeding and it worked! I had been on the pill for 6 years. I just lost insurance so I couldn't afford birth control. As soon as I was done my last pack of pills What thought was a normal period turned into what I was dealing with 6 years ago! My period wont stop its been over a month and im anemic again. My body shouldn't be bleeding like this! WHY WONT IT STOP WITHOUT BIRTH CONTROL PILLS? DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT IS CAUSEING THE INSIDE OF ME TO CONTINUE TO BLEED NON-STOP??

I don't know why that happens but the same thing has happened to me several times and everytime I had to take birth control to get it to stop! Mine actually lasted for 7 months when I was 19. But maybe you can try to get some BC at like planned parenthood or something! I am sorry! I know how you feel and it is NO fun!!!
