I am 33 weeks pregnant and when I went for my check up I was only measuring 29cm. What are some causes of the baby measuring small for gestationalGestational diabetes Gestational trophoblastic disease Age? I am really worried. I go for an ultrasound Thursday, but I can't stop thinking that something is wrong with my baby.
You may just be having a small baby....I had an U/S at 36 weeks and my baby was measuring 33 weeks......At my appt. last week he hadn't grown any since th previous 2 weeks.....They said from the U/S that he was in the 50th percentile which was fine....He'll just be on the smaller side.....People are having such large babies nowadays that a 7 lb. one sounds tiny.....Don't stress for now.....I'm sure that after your U/S on Thurs. you'll feel better......
Babies grow at their own rate so one week they might be measuring small and the next they are measuring big. I wouldn't worry too much since that isn't that big of a difference.
My midwife told us that if you measure 2cm off either way it's no big deal, and your just a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys off from that. Like everyone else said, everyone is differant. Try not to stress, you'll see when you have your U/S.
