Menstruation and Other Things

by komar1972, Jan 04, 2009 05:37AM
Since you are not menstruating during pregnancy does that mean your continuous 28 day cycles have completely shut down, and if so then what happens to the eggs that would have normally matured during those continuous 28 day cycles?

the eggs do not go on to ripen while you are pregnant therefore staying withn the ovary it is only the hormones that you have in your cycle that allows the egg to mature and be released from the ovary. you have no cycle while pregnant only the pregnancy cycle eg trimester 1,2,3 etc
