I, like you had migraines before I got p/g...  When I was p/g with DS, I had horrible headaches - and they seemed to never go away for the first 3 months or so. Then after that they would come occasionly, but not so bad. I just kept taking my tylenol and tried to sleep them off and take it easy (easier said than done...) They say that the headaches are caused by the hormones from the pregnancy.... I hope they get better :-)

I also had migraines before I got pregnant and I still get them. I only get them when I am not taking good care of myself though. Like I am not eating or sleeping or drinking enough water. It really *****. Some women get them all throughout their pregnancy.

They may last thruout your whole pregnancy. I was no Vicodin for the last 5 months of my pregnancy. AND I had 3 OBGYN's tell me and my mom (she freaked out) that it was fine as long as I wasnt' on a high doseage I took 5/500 every 4 hrs till the headach was gone. Try a little caffeine (ALSO OK UP T 300 MG)

Try to find you triggers, for some ppl it can be bright light, loud noise, certain foods, drinks, or just the hormones wreaking havoc on your system.

I've had real bad headaches not quite sure if they are migraines, but the worst headaches I have EVER had, They started around 8 weeks, I am 20 weeks now and they are still there just not as constant as b4. Mine was blood flow related, when you have your little bean in there you are pumping 50% more blood than usual, on top of that I also started having B/P issues so I had to get started on Atenolol, I have been on that a little over a week, and it has helped with the headaches tremendously. Make sure you are being monitored, and let your Doc know! Good Luck!

I had horrible migraines before i got preggo, and of course have them while I am pregnant (29weeks)..... I try to just pop some tylenol and lay down in a dark room.... altho sometimes they are really really bad..... I did call the doc and get a script for somthing stronger than tylenol bc i had one for 3 days...... and it was just making me sick.... so I would suggest just drinking TONS of water and popping some tylenol....and if that doesnt work I would def call the doc and see if there are some other alternatives for the pain

I take 2 Tylenol and drink 1/2 a Coke to kick my migraines.  I have only had 3 during pregnancy, so they have gotten better since getting pregnant.  That can go either way for different people.  Good luck!  Talk to you doctor if they get really bad.  There are medications he/she can prescribe.
