Miscarriage at the start or the end of the bleeding?

Hello!  I was suppose to be 11 weeks pregnant on January 8th.  I discovered some believe the night before and the next day I discovered that my baby had died at approximately 6 weeks.  I started having cramps on January 10 and then I was bleeding heavily 11 and passed a large amount of tissue on 12.  I had spotting for only another 3 days.  My husband and I went on our honeymoon as we postponed it when the weather here would be bad.  Tommorrow it will be 4 weeks from my first spotting.  Is this concerened the Miscarriage or the 12th when I passed everything.  Could there be a possibility that I am pregnant now to?  Or I am over anxious?

Hi there,

I am sorry for your loss.  When you passed a large clot of tissue on the 12th, that was probably the completion of your miscarriage.  I know people who have conceived not long after having a miscarriage.  Are you asking if you could still be pregnant and didn't actually miscarry or are you wondering if you conceived again?  It is possible you conceived again, if in doubt, take another hpt.  The HCG from your last pregnancy should be out of your system by now and I would think an hpt would be accurate. Generally, it is advisable to wait until you've had at least one normal period after a miscarriage before you start trying again.  Have you had a normal period since the miscarriage?  Have you gone to your doctor yet?  I know when i had a miscarriage, I had to go for an ultrasound and exam after the bleeding had stopped to make sure that I passed everything.  Again, i am deeply sorry for your loss.

I was asking could I be pregnant again after my miscarriage.  I haven't had one normal period yet.  I did have an ultrasound just before we left and everything had passed.  I am anxious to be pregnant again however, I want to wait.  I am just scared.
