Misscarriage?

Misscarriage?

Hi :-)

baasically im a tad confused and wondered if anyone could offer any advice :-)

My last period was 28th sept, i then had pink discharge on the 22nd (it was very light)

I missed my next period and was getting UTI symptoms (pain when weeing etc)

I took a pregnancy test and it came out positive, however later that day another test came out negative.

For two days straight after i was getting negatives so i went to the Dr who told me i have had an early misscarriage but she wants me to wait until next week as i have not bleed at all. she said i may need a DC

She tested my urine and it was all clear so i didnt have a UTI.

Has anyone had a simular experiance or an early misscarriage. I had implantation bleeding with my first so i thought thats why i spotted but she said it was the misscarriage. im a bit confused as to what to think.

Has anyone else had this before or could offer any advice.

Did you take your other tests with First morning urine? And have they taken blood to test your HCG levels only this really can determine a Miscarriage in early pregnancy.

Get a second opinion before a DC because docs jump to the conclusion of miscarriage and people havent actually miscarried... therefore didnt need a DC because their baby was fine! If you got a pos test then later got a neg one, if it was pregnant it wouldnt be detected that quickly.

I had a Miscarriage it took a week to get a neg pregnancy test BUT my HCG went down straight away and I got pregnant in the same week so I was pregnant again but I was in the implantation phase when they tested me again to discharge me from their records

I would go and see another doctor I dont think you have miscarried at all.

Thanks for the reply :-)

I got the positive test with first morning urine two days after my missed period, the result was quite strong.

I tried lots of tests after that and they came out neg. When i saw her she wouldnt do a pregnancy test as she said it was only for 'emergancys'. if i havnt had a bleed by next monday she wants to do a blood test. She wasnt very helpful atall :-(

I think you should go to another doctor. Because mosst docs do a pregnancy test to confirm also take your blood to see your HCGlevels.

I dont think you're miscarrying, Try another test with First Morning urine :).. and find another doc
