Missed pill

Ok, approx. mid March I took my last birth control before the placebo week a day late. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex the day of the missed pill because I didn't even realize I had missed it, we were on vacation. I realized the next morning the pill was still sitting in the dispenser. Anywho, my period was a few days late and when it came I just spotted. However, I continued taking the pills like usual and my periods have been normal since. However, now i am having ridiculous mood swings. Should I be worried about pregnancy or do you all think this is probably just due to the pills. I have been on them for a year now and it's just been the last couple of months that I get highly emotional usually a week before my period. There are no other signs.

It doesnt sound like you are pregnant but bare in mind the pill does have a small failure rate (1-2% when taken correctly) so pregnancy while on the pill is possible.  You can take a home pregnancy test if you have any concerns - it will be accurate and show a positive if you got pregnant in March.  You can pick up tests for $1 at the dollar store or for a few dollars at a grocery store.
