i dont know of any medications but when i was pregnant i was horribly sick the entire time, i looked on the internet and saw that if you eat a few crackers before even getting out of bed of a morning and let them settle that it helps, i tried and it did alot, of course it didnt take all the sickness away but i was able to get through most of my days off that and eating a cereal or toast with nothing on it for breakfast if you still feel sick helps too
I was sooooo sick with my 1st child (I lost 15 lbs in my 1st trimester) bloganh is right about the cracker thing it does help a ton (My mom told me about this one about 2 1/2 months in - this would have been good info a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys earlier - thanks mom) I also figured out that if I never let myself get hungry I got sick much less - try eating a small healthy snack every 2 hrs or so when you are awake (no cookies) - this was a huge help to me - also I could always hold cold cereal down (honeycomb was best for me) On the up-side of this situation with my 1st child I walked out of the hospital in a pair of size 3 jeans ---- I was never sick with my second child and walked out in a pair of size 14 jeans (too many cookies) -- good luck to you and I hope you get to feeling better soon -I know it is hard to enjoy your preg when you feel so horrible
I've tried just about everything and anything (including the cracker method). Nothing seems to help. I cannot even see or smellSmell - impaired Stools - foul smelling food because they would make me more nauseous. I heard the morning sickness is supposed to subside after 3 months. I hope it's the case for me. Just wondering if anyone has any magical spell to make it go away...haha.
I know how that feels, To help you out with feeling a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys better, when getting out of bed, take your time dont go to fast you will get sicker faster and get alot more dizzy. For sickness and keeping it under control. A thining that helps me is drinking a glass of milk. That helps calm the tummy and coats the insides. When eating food take it slow take one bit at a time and wait in between that give the food time to go down and you still get food in your tummy. for working and feeling sick. I always make sure to have some hard candy to suck on in my bag, I take those babies every where. When I start feeling sick I take those suckers out like crazy. There are so many things to do for morning sickness. Another one for the morning before getting out of bed. Keep a bag of sailting crakers by your bed. and before getting out of bed take a bit of a craker and get ready for your day. Also take hot showers might feel good but when your done. You will feel over heated and dizzy and when dizzyness comes feeling like throwing up follows behind. Taking a nice shower that wont leave you dizzy after words will help with your sickness as well.
I was very sick for the first 4 months of my pregnacy and then on and off for the rest but I did find that taking my prenatal right before bed and going STRAIGHT to bed helped alot. Before I started doing this I seemed to get even sicker everytime i took one and would throw it up right away. I would then vomit for most of the day. You can try that, it work a little for me.....if I went right to bed.
When I get queesy, usually breath mints make me feel better. Strange but true! You can also try ginger ale (make sure to get some with "Natural flavors" in the ingredient list.
Ginger can be really effective and the breath mints probably help because peppermint can be a great remedy for morning sickness as well. If you can get it ,try peppermint tea. Might even help relax you a bit. You can even take powdered ginger. Also, vitamin B6 (in a pill form) is another natural way to combat the all day sickness. Try taking your prenatels at night, it might help without sacrificing those valuble nutrients your baby needs. I had horrible all day sickness in my first pregnancy and all these things helped a little bit at least. Unfortunately though, sometimes we just have to bare with it until the first trimester is over (when it usually starts to subside). Try to hang in there. Its early and your body is adjusting to all those pregnancy hormones, it should gradually get better. ( I know that doesn't help when you are puking your guts out!) If you get to the point however where you can't keep anything down at all and you think the baby is not getting what is needs, you may need to go on a prescription medication to control it, but definitly try the natural remedies first. Good luck and I hope you feel better.
they're supposed to help
